How to use Google music outside US?

by on Jan.21, 2012, under News

Recently the guys from Google have introduced a great new application called "Google Music". It allows you to save all your music collection in the cloud for free and to stream it back to you on demand. You can stream your content to a PC using a browser or to your Android enabled phone. You can also purchase a lot of great music directly to your "Google Music" account for great prices. The problem is that for now "Google Music" only works in the US, and that's exactly where RemoteVpn comes in handy :) So how to use "Google Music" outside US? The good news are that Google only checks your IP address when you register to the service. So to start using "Google Music": 1) You need to connect to our US Vpn server. 2) Go to https://music.google.com, regsiter and download a client. 3) Upload your music to Google. 4) Using www.google.com look for com.google.android.music.*.apk file and download it to your mobile device. Giving back to the community – TOR

by on Mar.10, 2011, under News

We truly believe that an uncensored and unlimited Internet connection is a basic human right. The latest developments in the Arab world emphasize this issue really well. The people of Egypt and Tunisia were able to share their thoughts and dreams in many cases using the web. People in Iran are fighting for their basic rights and only able to sound their voices on the net. We have started Remotevpn.net with a goal of providing uncensored, neutral and fast Internet access to our clients. However we are aware that not everyone is capable of paying for our service. And so in the last month and a half we are operating a free TOR exit node on a dedicated 1gig line as a service to the community. Tera-bytes of data have passed through this server during this time and we hope that this has helped to promote free Internet We hope that as we grow we will be able to increase our bandwidth and equipment donations to the TOR network. Alex.
